Birthday Smash

For Jason's birthday every year, all he wants to do is smash pumpkins {because what else are you going to do with your rotting Halloween pumpkins?}. It's a tradition he started when he got home from his mission. You can read a more entertaining version of his birthday on his blog here. And every year it is so much fun. You just get so much satisfaction from hitting that pumpkin as hard as you can with a bat and seeing it splatter and fly. SO fun. So for his birthday on Friday, we did just that. We had our friends over and smashed all of our pumpkins in the backyard. Then we came inside and had cake. Because birthdays always call for cake.

For his birthday, I got him{us} tickets to see STOMP in February! I am so excited and I think he is too :)
