Girls' Day in Sausalito

While Jason was busy teaching at Music Camp all week, I was able to keep myself busy with other fun things.
I started bright and early Monday morning! I had the opportunity to go and help at Girls' Camp, and it was so much fun. Girls' Camp is a fun activity that the young women in our church do every year to strengthen their testimonies of Christ and build relationships with other girls, and since I didn't become a member of the church until later in life, I didn't go as a youth. But a friend asked for some help, and I jumped on that opportunity! I loved it, and I hope I have the opportunity someday to spend the entire week up there! I was only there for one day and I already was in love with it. One thing that I did get to experience was the Zip Line! And it was the best. I absolutely loved every second of it. A leader there used a very good analogy and talked about how it represents having faith over fear. Because going up that ladder was SO scary! I was shaky and nervous. But I had faith in the harness and faith in the men who were holding the ropes and the ladder, and because of that I overcame my fear and I went forward instead with faith. And loved it! It was a great object lesson.
And such a fun experience :)
Here's a clip of my zip line experience.

Tuesday I got to surprise Jasmine, and her reaction was so, so precious. She was so excited to see me! Here's a video of her sweet surprise. We went and spent the day in Columbia and had a blast. She is so cute and I can't believe she's 10 years old already! I love that we still hold such a special place in each others' hearts.

Wednesday, after a few unfortunate circumstances which I won't delve into here, my mom, Bailey, and I had the opportunity to spend the day up in Sausalito. There's always a rainbow after the rain, right?! We all had such a fun day together. And Sausalito is GORGEOUS! Such a pretty place. It's on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge, so obviously provides a perfect view of the city.
