September/October 2015

Wow....it's been months since I've updated this thing...MONTHS!!! Like 4 of them... a lot happens in 4 months. So i'm just going to do real quick overview in one post and take care of it all. Here it goes!!

September/October. . .

At the end of August our stake had a huge boundary change, so our ward was sort of divided and we were placed in a brand new ward. It was actually very sad at the time. We loved our ward and made so many wonderful friends there, so it was a big change, that's for sure. I was Relief Society President and Jason was in the Elder's Quorum presidency. We loved our callings and our friends and everything about it. But the church is still true wherever you go, so we did what we were asked ;)
I was called again as Relief Society President (which was sure to be a huge challenge in a ward with a bunch of new faces) and Jason was called as Executive Secretary (for the third time haha. He's really, really good at it ;). Shortly after I was called was the General Women's Meeting for General Conference, and I had the opportunity to invite a few girls in the ward to come with me. It was such a sweet experience! And a great way to get to know a few of these girls. We had a wonderful time and learned so much.

October was a CRAZY busy month for band with a football game every single weekend, plus a few extra performances thrown in there. So here are a few highlights of those.

It was a really good season for Cougar Football. I learned to love the game this season, actually. Jason is pretty happy about that. Above is a screenshot of the band (Jason on the left, his friend Zane on the right) at the Boise State game

Jason's parents came out to see us one weekend for General Conference and a football game. We love when they come to visit! The football game was Friday night, and we stayed up in SLC Saturday night. While the men went to the Priesthood session, Rhonda and I spent some time together and went to see the capital which was SO PRETTY!! I had no idea.

And it was October. . . so we made some time for some Fall and Halloween festivities of course!
The Palmers and ourselves hosted our very first Halloween Party and it was a huge success. I wish we had pictures of everyone! But here are a few.
October was a fabulous month. Also in there was Jordan and Meghann's wedding, but that will get it's own post ;)
